Who is the Workshop.

We are a collective of strategists, designers, and makers founded by Dave Allen & Skylar Jessen.

Dave is a founding member of post-punk band Gang of Four and most recently was Director of Artist Advocacy at Beats Music and Artist Relations at Apple Music.

Skylar is an honoree of the Fast Company Innovation by Design Awards whose design direction has been utilized by Grammy Award winning artists, global non-profits, and underground artistic communities.

Chasing the right idea for an artist and their community means we work in multiple mediums and technologies.

But our end results land in the worlds of interactive, experience, and product design.

We thrive in creating experiences and products that build sustainable relationships between artists and partners.

Collaborating with artists to deeply understand their voice and community, what can and should be built to push their voice further, and intentionally bringing in the right partners to be a part of creating the result.
